CSV to Chart
Turn CSV columns into a bar, line, pie or scatter chart in your browser with Chart.js, then download the result as a PNG. 100% private, no uploads.
🔒 Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploadedVisualize CSV data without a server
Spreadsheets and exports are easy to store but hard to read at a glance. This CSV to Chart tool turns raw rows into a clear bar, line, pie or scatter chart using Chart.js, entirely inside your browser. Paste CSV text from a report or upload a local file, choose which column supplies the labels and which columns supply the values, and the page draws an interactive chart on a canvas. Because everything runs locally, sensitive sales figures, analytics exports and internal metrics never leave your device.
The parser understands quoted fields, embedded commas and line breaks inside quoted cells, so it handles real-world exports rather than only toy data. After loading, the first row is treated as the header and each remaining row becomes a data point. Numeric values are detected automatically, and you can plot several value columns at once as separate series on bar and line charts.
Choosing the right chart type
Bar charts compare discrete categories, line charts show trends over an ordered sequence, pie charts express parts of a whole, and scatter charts reveal the relationship between two numeric columns. For pie and scatter the tool uses the first checked value column, while bar and line render every checked column. If a value cell is empty or non-numeric, it is treated as zero so the chart stays consistent. Switching the type re-renders instantly from the same parsed data.
Saving and sharing your chart
Once the chart looks right, click Download PNG to export the canvas as an image you can drop into a slide deck, document or email. The export captures exactly what is drawn, including the legend and axis labels. Keep the original CSV as your source of truth and use the PNG as a quick, shareable snapshot. For ongoing dashboards, re-paste updated CSV and re-render to produce a fresh image in seconds, all without installing charting software or trusting an online uploader with your data.
