Preview JSON as a readable table

JSON is flexible and developer-friendly, but it is not always easy to inspect at a glance. This JSON to Table tool takes an array of objects and renders the rows in a normal HTML table, so you can quickly check fields, spot missing values and share the data as a CSV. Paste JSON from an API response, local script or export file, or upload a .json document from your computer.

The parser and table renderer run completely in your browser. Your JSON text is never uploaded to a server, which keeps private API payloads, test fixtures, customer records and internal configuration data on your device. After parsing, the tool collects the object keys into column headers and shows the values row by row. Nested arrays or objects are displayed as compact JSON inside a cell so no information is silently discarded.

From JSON to CSV

CSV is useful when a JSON dataset needs to be opened in a spreadsheet, imported into a database or sent to someone who does not work with code. The export button writes a quoted CSV file using the same columns shown in the preview. If different objects contain different keys, the table includes the union of those keys and leaves missing values blank. That behavior makes irregular API responses easier to review without manually copying fields into a spreadsheet.

Input tips

The input must be valid JSON and the top-level value must be an array of objects. A single object should be wrapped in square brackets before conversion. For large files, previewing the table can take a moment because the browser is building DOM rows locally; if the data is huge, consider converting a representative sample first. Keep the original JSON file as your source of truth and use the CSV export as a convenient view for review and collaboration.
